The changes are expected to affect deputy minister and director positions, while the final decision will be made in coordination with coalition partners.
Speaking to reporters, Mickoski said he had already identified the areas where staffing interventions and changes were needed.
“I more or less know what, where and how. We need to confirm it at the coalition level, and this will happen during the coming week or two,” he said.
The process follows the government reshuffle carried out in July, when several ministerial positions were changed. At the time, Mickoski had announced that deputy ministers would be part of the changes in the autumn.
So far, the names of the deputy ministers and directors who could be dismissed have not been made public, while the candidates who could replace them also remain unknown.
