His discussion with Deutsche Telekom’s chief executive focused on opportunities for additional investment in Macedonia. According to the prime minister, the discussion went beyond telecommunications to include healthcare, smart technology and other industries. He said investment in these areas would bring substantial added value to the Macedonian economy while expanding the company’s presence both in the country and across the region.

The visit to Bonn also included meetings with the German Chamber of Commerce. These were attended by many companies that have already invested in Macedonia, as well as businesses seeking to invest there.

Mickoski said the discussions with business representatives covered their experiences to date and ways to make their investments more successful. The talks also addressed increasing investment and expanding companies’ capacity, which he said would contribute to growth in the Macedonian economy’s gross domestic product.

In the prime minister’s assessment, the day spent in Bonn, Germany, was truly successful overall. He said the topics discussed today would help improve the quality of life in Macedonia and benefit its citizens.

Sending warm greetings from Düsseldorf, Mickoski announced that the visit to Germany would continue tomorrow.

Alongside the prime minister, the government delegation consists of Aleksandar Nikoloski, deputy prime minister and minister of transport; Timcho Mucunski, minister of foreign affairs and foreign trade; Stefan Andonovski, minister of digital transformation; and Goce Dimovski, director of ZZHTI.
