Mexhiti: By the end of the weekend, a clear picture of the government reshuffle is expected

VLEN co-chair Izet Mexhiti said that talks on the government reshuffle have entered the final stage and that by the end of the weekend the new government lineup is expected to become clear.

He told “TV Sitel” that negotiations among the coalition partners are continuing and that there is still no final decision. According to him, a final solution is expected in the coming days, as the discussions have not ended. Mexhiti stressed that several meetings have been held so far and that the work of all ministers and deputy ministers is being assessed.

According to him, part of these negotiations is also reviewing the implementation of the government program, as well as the priorities of the institutions and the results achieved so far.

“We are talking about the program, about where each one stands, about the priorities, about what has been implemented and what has not. So, we are entering the final phase, where by the end of the weekend we will have a clear picture within the coalition and the political entities,” Mexhiti said.

According to him, the coming days will be decisive for closing the negotiations and determining the next steps in the government reshuffle process.
