Mexhiti and Kasami Overtake Ali Ahmeti in the Latest Trust Rating

A public opinion survey conducted in Macedonia by the Market Vision agency, commissioned by the MKD.mk portal, in the period from June 10 to 27, shows that the leaders of the new political party VLEN, Izet Mexhiti and Bilall Kasami, enjoy greater trust among citizens than the head of the opposition party DUI, Ali Ahmeti.

According to the data from this research, the combined rating of Izet Mexhiti and Bilall Kasami reaches 6.6%, while Ali Ahmeti’s stands at 5.5%. This marks the first time that Ahmeti has recorded lower popularity than the leaders of other Albanian parties.

At the same time, measurements for political parties show a decline for DUI, while it is clearly noticeable that VLEN is getting ever closer and is putting this party at risk after uniting into a single political entity.

To the question, “Which political party would you vote for in the next elections?”, the respondents’ answers showed the following result:

• VMRO-DPMNE would receive 20.5% of the vote,

• LSDM (SDSM) 6.2%,

• DUI (BDI) 5%,

• VLEN 4.4%,

• Levica 2.9%,

• and ZNAM 1.5%.
