Nicole Varnes, acting ambassador of the United States of America in Skopje, visited Dibra and met with the mayor of the municipality, Fisnik Mela.

Her visit began with coffee by Lake Dibra, followed by a boat ride. This gave the high-ranking guest an opportunity to enjoy the scenery and the lake’s distinctive natural features.
According to the municipality’s announcement, the visit took place in a friendly atmosphere, and Varnes gained firsthand insight into Dibra’s natural assets, tourism opportunities, and hospitality.
During the visit, the need to strengthen good relations and cooperation was emphasized, alongside the promotion of the natural and tourism potential of the Municipality of Dibra.
The acting ambassador also met with representatives of Dibra’s business community in the U.S. The delegation was led by Ibrahim Kolari, known as a philanthropist and the owner of companies in Dibra as well.
