Meeting at “Vila e Kuqe”/ Rama: Citizens must be heard calmly, artificial intelligence will help with the appeals process

At Vila e Kuqe in the capital, the political leaders of the Socialist Party and members of the government cabinet held a meeting lasting more than two hours, during which they presented Prime Minister Edi Rama with an update on the progress of the “Loyal Presence” initiative, inaugurated last Friday.

The head of government shared with the public a filmed report from the working session, which will now be repeated every week with political representatives and ministers to discuss the duties and reports related to the initiative.

In his remarks, Rama stressed the importance of how meetings with citizens are conducted, underlining the need for them to express their concerns without feeling uncomfortable.

He added that people are not there to appear on screen or on social media, or even to be identified as having been present, which gives them the confidence to share their problems freely.

During the reports, Ulsi Manja, the political leader for Dibër County, said that one citizen had specifically asked for his problem to reach the prime minister’s desk personally, believing that this would be the right step toward resolving it.

Meanwhile, Socialist Party Secretary-General and political leader for Durrës, Blendi Klosi, stressed that technology plays a key role in implementing the “Loyal Presence” initiative.

According to him, the new system makes it possible for a request to be reviewed immediately upon registration so that it can be resolved, while artificial intelligence enables the automatic creation of emails containing the necessary legal references.

Enea Karakaçi, the political leader for Shkodër, pointed out that most complaints focus on legalization issues, particularly mentioning the difficulties surrounding buildings constructed before 1991.

Ermal Nufi, the representative for Lezhë, meanwhile explained that residents of the area mostly complain about OSHEE and the condition of the road infrastructure, highlighting deteriorated roads and bridges.
