After speeches were delivered in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, the protesters, led by students again this evening, set off on a march through the capital.
During the rally, chants of “arrest Rama,” “arrest Balluku,” and “Albania demands a revolution” could be heard.
The protesters lit flares as they marched, giving the protest another dimension.
Earlier, European Commission President Von der Leyne held a meeting with Prime Minister Edi Rama. Meanwhile, citizens organized themselves at various points along the Boulevard after police prevented them from holding the rally in front of the Prime Minister’s Office square.
