Major General Ulutash welcomes Admiral Wikoff, briefs him on the security situation in Kosovo

On Monday, the commander of NATO’s Kosovo Force (KFOR), Major General Ozkan Ulutash, welcomed Admiral George M. Wikoff, commander of the Allied Joint Force Command Naples (JFC Naples).

According to official KFOR sources, during his stay at Camp Novo Selo, Admiral Wikoff was briefed on the current security situation in the country and on the daily efforts of the peacekeeping troops to ensure a calm and stable environment for all residents of Kosovo.

As part of the visit, he also had the opportunity to meet and talk with other members of the mission staff.

A special moment of the inspection was a reconnaissance helicopter flight along the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL). Major General Ulutash personally accompanied the admiral, providing a clear overview of KFOR’s force disposition and the regular patrolling activities conducted in that border area.
