Luxair brings Luxembourg closer with new route to Tirana International Airport

March 29, 2027, will mark the launch of twice-weekly flights between Tirana and Luxembourg, on Mondays and Fridays, operated by the newest partner, Luxair.

The new direct air route further strengthens the Albanian capital’s connection with key European markets. It will serve the growing demand for Albania as a tourist destination, as well as the needs of the Albanian community in Luxembourg.

The launch of the Luxembourg–Tirana service comes at a time when Tirana International Airport has experienced significant growth in passenger numbers and its network of destinations in recent years.

Piervittorio Farabbi, Chief Operating Officer of Tirana International Airport, said:
