LSDM: After Poisonings, Private Businesses Now Also Under Attack

In Gostivar, as a result of water contamination, the Food and Veterinary Agency has imposed 30 fines and ordered the temporary closure of 12 businesses. Intensified inspections are still ongoing, while some venues, retail outlets, and producers are facing restrictions and being forced to suspend operations, the LSDM reports.

According to the LSDM, these entrepreneurs are not to blame for the situation. They are victims of a mistake they did not commit.

“They are the target of VMRO-DPMNE and their organized crime group, as well as an incompetent staff that has shown complete disregard for public health. First, the residents were poisoned. Now, private entities are also bearing the consequences – bakeries, food suppliers, traders – who neither polluted the water nor hid the truth.”

The LSDM draws parallels with the price situation. For a long period, this party has insisted on interventions that would alleviate the effects of fuel price hikes.

“Mickoski and his executive lacked the ability to implement those measures. The consequence? Daily price increases, which are paid directly by the citizens. Now, again due to the fault of institutions led by Mickoski, the population was poisoned and private businesses will immediately feel the blow,” the LSDM stated./Telegrafi/
