Liridona Ademaj’s mother expresses solidarity with the Zekaj family: I know the pain of losing a child

The family of Liridona Ademaj, who was killed by her husband, Naim Murseli, has expressed its condolences to the family of Arlinda Zekaj, who was killed in Vitomirica, Peja.

Liridona’s mother’s message to Arlinda’s family was made public by her brother, Leonardi Ademaj.

Liridona’s mother shared the pain of the Zekaj family, emphasizing that she knows firsthand the suffering caused by the loss of a daughter, as she, too, has faced the same tragedy.

“Heartfelt condolences to Arlinda’s family. As a mother who has experienced the greatest pain in life, the loss of my daughter to crime, I know well what it means when your child is taken from you and your heart is broken forever,” her message said.

She also recounted that the news of Arlinda’s killing brought back memories and reopened the wounds caused by the loss of her daughter.

“When I learned that another girl from Kosovo, Arlinda, had become a victim of murder, the wounds in my soul reopened and my heart was shattered again. Only swift justice can console the family members,” the message continued.
