Leon Avdullahu scores stunning goal against Borussia Dortmund, his first for Hoffenheim

Leon Avdullahu found the back of the net for the first time with Hoffenheim, giving his team an important lead in the derby against Borussia Dortmund.

The Kosovar midfielder scored in the 45th minute, after a powerful long-range shot that ended up in the net for a 1-0 lead.

This goal holds special significance for Avdullahu, as it is his first since his transfer to Hoffenheim and comes in his second season with the German club. Thanks to him, Hoffenheim closed the first half with a lead over Dortmund.

Avdullahu continues to be one of the players with the biggest increase in market value. According to Transfermarkt, his card is currently valued at 30 million euros, while he recently extended his contract with Hoffenheim until 2031.

In Hoffenheim’s starting lineup is also Albian Hajdari, who started the match from the first minute and has been shown a yellow card.

Meanwhile, Fisnik Asllani, the other Kosovar striker of Hoffenheim, has not yet joined the team.
