Lecturers Serving the Regime! Activist Appeals at Protest: Let Us Unite for the Albania We Deserve

During the rally outside the Prime Minister’s Office, an activist addressed students with a call to participate, encouraging them to help build a brighter future for younger generations.

She spoke out about the troubling conditions in higher education, citing inadequate scholarships, appalling dormitory conditions and a system that operates in favor of political interests.

“I am speaking to the students. Come, all of you, so that together we can build a better future for you and the generations that follow. Students refuse to settle for scholarships of 100,000 lek, to live in disgraceful dormitories and to be led by lecturers who serve those in power rather than genuine knowledge,” she said.

She urged young people to become actively involved in public life, describing knowledge as the most powerful force for bringing about the desired change.

“Today, you possess the strongest weapon: the power of knowledge. We are the ones who must build our future. What have these people done all this time? Nothing but destruction,” she stressed.

In closing, she called on all citizens to stand with the students.

“I call on citizens: together with the youth, we will make the Albania we want a reality,” the activist concluded.
