LDK proposes its representatives for 16 parliamentary committees

The Democratic League of Kosovo has submitted its proposals for the members of parliament who will represent the party on 16 parliamentary committees.

According to the proposed list, the LDK will chair two parliamentary committees. Jehona Lushaku-Sadriu has been proposed to head the Committee on European Integration, while Besian Mustafa has been proposed to head the Committee for the Oversight of Public Finances.

The party’s other members of parliament will serve on the respective committees as deputy chairs or members.

1. Avdullah Hoti has been proposed as a member of the Committee on Budget, Labour and Transfers.

2. Kujtim Shala has been proposed as a member of the Committee on the Rights and Interests of Communities and Return.

3. Doarsa Kica-Xhelili has been proposed as the first deputy chair of the Committee on Legislation, Mandates, Immunities, Rules of Procedure of the Assembly and Oversight of the Anti-Corruption Agency.

4. The Committee on European Integration will be chaired by Jehona Lushaku-Sadriu.

5. Lutfi Haziri has been proposed as a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora.

6. Hykmete Bajrami has been proposed as a member of the Committee on Education, Science, Technology, Innovation, Culture, Youth and Sports.

7. Ermal Sadiku has been proposed as a member of the Committee on Economy, Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation.

8. Ukë Rugova has been proposed as the first deputy chair of the Committee on Environment, Spatial Planning, Food, Agriculture, Forestry, Rural Development, Infrastructure and Transport.

9. Albena Reshitaj has been proposed as a member of the Committee on Health.

10. Armend Zemaj has been proposed as a member of the Committee on Public Administration, Digitalization, Local Government, Media and Regional Development.

11. Fadil Hadërgjonaj has been proposed as the first deputy chair of the Committee on Security and Defence Affairs.

12. Janina Ymeri has been proposed as a member of the Committee on Human Rights, Gender Equality and Petitions.

13. Besian Mustafa has been proposed as chair of the Committee for the Oversight of Public Finances.

14. Anton Quni has been proposed as a member of the Committee for Oversight of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency.

15. Paris Guri has been proposed as the first deputy chair of the Committee on Culture, Tourism, Sports and Youth.

16. Arben Gashi has been proposed as a member of the Committee on Social Welfare, Labour, Family, the Values of the Liberation War, Victims of Sexual Violence and War and Missing Persons.
