LDK lawmaker supports government operation in Ujman

Ermal Sadiku, the newly elected MP from the Democratic League of Kosovo, has openly expressed his support for the recent operations to remove illegal constructions. He has endorsed the actions taken by institutions, both in the Ujman area and in the capital, Pristina.

In a public reaction on social media, Sadiku praised the executive’s commitment to eliminating structures built without permits and those on state-owned land near Lake Ujman. According to him, protecting the country’s water resources is a national and essential interest.

“I stand firmly behind the government’s decision to free occupied spaces and state properties in Ujman. Especially considering that the protection of Kosovo’s water reserves, as a strategic vital asset, is non-negotiable,” he wrote.

The LDK MP did not fail to mention the action taken by local authorities. He offered unreserved support also for the Municipality of Pristina in its initiative to remove illegal structures from the land under its administration. Sadiku concluded his message with a call for the rule of law, stressing the need for an equal state for all citizens, regardless of ethnicity.
