LAMM Reports Increased Traffic at Tabanoc, While Citizens Report Waits of Up to Three Hours at Bogorodica and Dojran

According to an announcement by LAMM this morning, traffic on state roads is moving normally and the roads are dry.

Meanwhile, vehicle traffic has increased on roads outside populated areas. Heavier traffic has been recorded entering the country at the Tabanoc border crossing and leaving the country at Bogorodica. LAMM said waiting times at these crossings range from around 30 minutes to one hour. At other border crossings on the Macedonian side, entry into and exit from the country are proceeding without longer delays.

However, several citizens have written on social media that it is taking between two and three hours this morning to pass through both passport checks when traveling to Greece via the Bogorodica and Dojran border crossings.

LAMM is urging drivers to adjust their speed, obey road signs and exercise caution while driving. Particular care is required on roads passing through valleys, river valleys and gorges, where landslides may occur. The warning applies especially to the Katlanovo–Veles, Mavrovo–Debar–Struga, Vinica–Berovo and Kochani–Delchevo road sections.
