The incident was recorded during a patrol conducted by the Border Police and Maritime Police Unit services in the waters near “Bar Bistro.” Police said the watercraft had entered the protected beach area, putting the people there at risk.
After the administrative procedures were completed, the authorities impounded the Jet Ski, while its operator, identified by the initials P. S., was fined 500,000 old lekë.
Police are calling on watercraft users to comply with navigation rules and refrain from entering safety perimeters. Coastal inspections will continue to prevent incidents and ensure the protection of beachgoers.
