Six Kosovo Police officers were injured, while 11 citizens sought medical treatment during a protest held on the evening of October 5 near the Assembly and Government buildings. The figures were released by the police themselves in a statement.

In the same statement, the police said that three people who were protesting were taken to a police station, while further action against them would be taken in cooperation with the justice authorities.
The police also confirmed that they used tear gas and a water cannon during the intervention. According to the police, these measures were used against protesters who threw pyrotechnic devices and hard objects at institutions and police officers.
The statement added that, late in the evening, the protest continued peacefully.
