Kosovo Security Force captain completes elite Special Forces course in the US with honors

Kosovo Security Force Captain E.V. has successfully completed the U.S. Army Special Forces Qualification Course (SFQC), held at the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School in the United States.

The program, lasting more than eight months from January to September 2026, prepares members to become part of the Green Berets. During this period, the captain underwent advanced training in small-unit tactics, planning and directing special operations, and completed the 18A Special Forces Detachment Officer qualification and the final Robin Sage exercise.

For his achievements during the entire process, he was honored with the title “Distinguished Honor Graduate,” a recognition that attests to his high professional performance, leadership skills and dedication.

The Kosovo Security Force (KSF) announced that this achievement is a significant success for the captain’s career, and also an indicator of its ongoing commitment to strengthening special operations capacities, preparing professional personnel, and enhancing interoperability with the Armed Forces of the United States and strategic partners.

The Ministry of Defence and the Kosovo Security Force continue to support the professional advancement of their members through education and training programs at prestigious military institutions of partner countries.
