Kosovo Assembly meets today, Kurti appears in parliament two hours before the session

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti was seen leaving the Assembly today, two hours before the plenary session is expected to begin at 11:00 a.m.

Before leaving, Kurti was asked about his meeting last night with PDK leader Bedri Hamza, but he declined to comment.

Finance Minister Hekuran Murati also left the Assembly for the government offices alongside Kurti. He had taken part in the negotiations conducted by the head of Vetëvendosje with the LDK over the issue of the president.

During today’s plenary session, members of the Kosovo Assembly will consider a number of issues, including the adoption of the Declaration on the judgment of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers dated September 16.

The session is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. The agenda also includes the adoption of the minutes of previous sessions and the swearing-in of members of parliament.

Lawmakers are also expected to vote on the deputy speaker of the Assembly from the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, as well as consider the establishment of parliamentary committees necessary for the functioning of the legislature.
