Konjufca and Aitaro explore opportunities to expand Kosovo-Palau cooperation

During the 55th Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting, being held in Koror, Palau, First Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Glauk Konjufca, met with the Minister of State of the Republic of Palau, Gustav Aitaro.

The discussion between the two officials focused on relations between Kosovo and Palau, as well as opportunities for further advancing bilateral cooperation.

Konjufca praised the hospitality shown by Palau and the organization of the Forum, emphasizing the importance of this meeting for direct discussion of steps that can be taken to strengthen relations between the two countries.

The meeting also addressed the need to intensify diplomatic and inter-institutional contacts and to identify new areas of common interest.

According to the announcement, “the meeting reaffirmed the will to deepen ties between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Palau and to expand cooperation on the basis of mutual respect and common interests.”
