Këlliçi accuses Rama of lack of responsibility in SHISH scandal: he normalized the blow to national security

In a statement published on social media, Democratic Party deputy chairman Belind Këlliçi reacted to Prime Minister Edi Rama’s video message, criticizing him for a lack of political responsibility over the scandal in the State Intelligence Service (SHISH).

Këlliçi says Rama has provided no explanations on the issue involving former SHISH head Vlora Hyseni.

According to him, the prime minister has chosen to blame SPAK and the opposition media.

Këlliçi also stresses that Rama has not accepted responsibility, even though Hyseni was appointed to head SHISH during his government’s mandate.

He also rejects the claim that her appointment was based on positive assessments by international partners.

According to the Democratic Party deputy chairman, the prime minister has presented as normal an event that he considers a serious blow to national security, while attacking SPAK’s investigations and media reports.
