KEDS Announces Temporary Power Outages in Several Areas Due to Maintenance Work

KEDS has announced that during the course of today it will carry out work on the power grid, which will result in limited electricity supply interruptions in several areas.

According to the announcement, the work will be carried out in Prishtina, Prizren and Ferizaj.

In Prishtina, as part of work necessary for system security, the 20 kV feeder J06 Feeder No. 1 (code: 19000072) from NS 110/20 kV Prishtina 7 will be interrupted from 10:00 to 14:00. This outage includes Gazmend Zajmi Street, Mitrovica Street, Anton Qeta Street, Rexhep Mala Street and Tringë Smajli Street. The reason for this is the testing of the SCADA system at the Arif Dermishi facility.

Also, from NS 110/10(20) kV Prishtina 2, the 20 kV feeder J03 Feeder No. 1 (code: 11000072) will be interrupted between 10:00 and 14:00. Rrustem Statovci Street, Adrian Krasniqi Street, Jashar Salihu Street and Latif Berisha Street will remain without electricity. In this case as well, the reason is the testing of the SCADA system at the Arif Dermishi facility.

In Prishtina, work by a third party has also been planned. From TS 110/10[kV] Prishtina 5, the 10[kV] Bardhosh feeder (code: 13000001) will be interrupted from 10:00 to 14:00. The outage will affect part of the village of Bardhosh, Siçevë, part of Bërnica, Trudë and Sharban. The reason for this intervention is the elimination of the overhead field according to PEE.

In the Prizren region, as part of work necessary for system security, the 10 kV J06 Gjinovci feeder (code: 32000003) from NS 110/10 kV Theranda will be interrupted from 10:30 to 15:00. This outage will include the villages of Gjinoc, Greikoc, Leshan (part), Sallagrazhdë, Shirokë (part), Topliqan (part) and Gelancë. The reason for the outage is the installation of the conductor in project M.26.01.028 – “TS Lapidari Grikovc 3 – 32000003035”.

Meanwhile, in Ferizaj, third-party work has been scheduled. From TS 110/35/10[kV] Lipjani, the 10[kV] Industrial Zone feeder (code: 41000009) will be interrupted from 09:00 to 18:00. TS Emonek, TS Coca Cola, TS Motrat Binjake, TS Janina, TS Agim Nita, TS Mulliri Millenium, TS Xella, TS Pofix, TS Semerana, TS Ekzoni, TS Keja Company, TS UBT, TS Muja and TS Gega will remain without power supply. The reason for this work is the execution of works according to PEE.
