Kanye Wast concert in Tirana today / Traffic restrictions, here are the roads that will be blocked

The Tirana Local Police Directorate has announced that, as part of the “YE” music event, which will take place today in the Kashar area, temporary traffic restrictions will be imposed on several road axes in the capital.

According to the official announcement, from 07:00 until 24:00, traffic will be prohibited on the secondary axis of the Durrës–Tirana highway, from the “Eiffel” area to “Casa Italia.” This segment will operate only as an exit route for businesses operating in the area.

During the same time interval, the exit lane of the Durrës–Tirana highway at the “Casa Italia” roundabout will also be blocked.

Meanwhile, from 12:00 until 24:00, traffic will not be allowed on the “Casa Italia” – “Pavarësia” Street – “Sokrat Miho” Street segment, as well as on the “Sokrat Miho” Street – “Kasem Shima” Street – “7 Nëntori” Street segment, which will operate only as an exit route.

Police said that on the road from Ura e Institutit to “Casa Italia” there may also be partial traffic blockages, depending on the flow of participants, with the aim of managing traffic and ensuring the event is held safely.

During the restriction hours, only emergency vehicles and State Police vehicles will have access to the blocked areas.

Tirana Police are calling on citizens to show understanding, plan their movements in advance, use alternative routes, and follow the instructions of police officers deployed on the ground.
