Janevska: 252 students left without accommodation in student dormitories

So far, 252 students have been rejected during the application process for accommodation in student dormitories because they did not meet the established requirements. The news was announced by the Minister of Education and Science, Vesna Janevska.

Janevska emphasized that only students with regular status are entitled to stay in dormitories, while those who have held graduate status for more than three years lose this opportunity.

Another frequent reason for rejection is incomplete documentation submitted during the electronic application process.

“The application process is carried out entirely digitally, so I urge students to be careful when uploading their documents. To secure a place, they must be regular students and submit all the required documentation,” the minister said.

She warned that if vacancies remain after all deadlines have expired, the Ministry will draft a new regulation. This regulation would make it possible for these places to be offered to students at commercial prices, but with substantial subsidies.
