Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke about the development of artificial intelligence in the country. During his address at the European Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum “Ruhr Summit,” he said the country had given this intelligence a voice by appointing Diella to a cabinet role.

Rama said democracy cannot be handed over to an algorithm, because responsibility is human. But artificial intelligence makes unfair decisions much harder to hide. The head of government jokingly said that it is hard to bribe a server, which is why he made Diella part of the government.

“The greatest achievement of this first step was not convenience. It is extremely difficult to bribe a server. It changes who holds power within power. Why shouldn’t intelligence itself become part of the government? We gave this intelligence a voice, Diella, and appointed it to a cabinet role. The public prosecutor, every government has to buy medicine, build roads, and we asked ourselves what would happen if intelligence became a partner. There is something I want to emphasize.
