A serious incident has been reported in the Barriera di Milano neighborhood of Turin, where a 37-year-old man is suspected of attacking his 31-year-old partner with the intention of killing her.

During the altercation, the man allegedly took the woman to the apartment’s balcony and placed his hands around her neck in an attempt to strangle her.
The 31-year-old managed to free herself and leave the apartment with their one-year-old daughter. The two sought shelter with neighbors, while shortly afterward the 37-year-old jumped from the 10th-floor balcony and died.
The woman and her daughter are out of danger. The Carabinieri have launched an investigation to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
