Ina Zhupa: The Democratic Party is entering a phase of renewal and is building its team for the next elections

Ina Zhupa, a Democratic Party MP, said that the reorganization process at the blue headquarters will create more space for women and young people in the leadership structures.

In an interview with A2 CNN, she stressed that the new statute stipulates that at least 40% of representatives must be women and 40% must be young people. According to her, the list presented to the National Council also reflects precisely this new orientation.

To shape a Democratic Party that is ready with a team for the electoral campaign, parliamentary battles, a transitional government, and to lead the season of protests, Zhupa declared.

The Democratic MP described this stage as the “second chapter” of the party’s restructuring, adding that she expects it to be accompanied by successful elections and a functional leadership.

She also underlined that she has confidence in the changes to the statute and in the way the PD chairman is building this approach, with the aim of creating a team that meets the needs of the electorate.
