Hoxha in Bogovinje: The Ministry of Environment finances three projects worth around 60 million denars

Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Muamet Hoxha paid a working visit today to the Municipality of Bogovinje, where together with Mayor Feti Abazi and Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Kaltrina Zekolli Shaqiri, he inspected the infrastructure projects being implemented with financial support from the Ministry.

In this municipality, the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning is supporting three projects with a total value of around 60 million denars. These include the construction of a stormwater canal in the settlement of Pirok, the regulation of the Kusha riverbed in Lower Pallçisht, as well as the regulation of the riverbed in Kamjan, whose implementation is expected to begin soon.

The implementation of these interventions enables more effective protection from stormwater and torrential flows, reduces the risk of flooding, and improves living safety for residents of the area.

The Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning continues to direct investments into infrastructure projects across the country, as such capital investments create the foundation for the green transition and contribute to sustainable development, greater resilience to climate challenges, and the provision of a higher-quality living environment for all citizens.
