Hoxha in Bogovinë: Coordination between institutions advances irrigation infrastructure for farmers

Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Albrim Hoxha, together with the Mayor of the Municipality of Bogovinë, Feti Abazi, closely inspected the progress of the works to clean irrigation canals in the municipal area.

This process is being implemented by JSC Water Economy, while support for carrying out the activity has also been provided by the Municipality of Bogovinë, which through its municipal enterprise has engaged machinery, workers and equipment.

During the inspection, Hoxha underlined that the continuous maintenance of the irrigation network is an essential condition for a successful agricultural season and for ensuring a stable water supply to the land.

“This is a good example of how cooperation between central institutions and local government brings concrete results for citizens. I thank Mayor Feti Abazi for the dedication and concrete support in carrying out these works. Only through coordination and joint commitment can we build a more functional irrigation system and greater support for farmers,” Hoxha said.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy will continue cooperation with municipalities to implement activities that contribute to improving water infrastructure and creating more favorable conditions for the development of agriculture.
