How many villas and other properties still need to be uncovered?” Bardhi calls on SPAK to send Parliament the request to arrest Balluku

Gazment Bardhi has posted a video on social media in which he calls on SPAK to send Parliament the request to lift the immunity of and arrest former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.

The head of the Democratic Party’s Parliamentary Group described this moment as “Day 2,” while mentioning three charges that, according to him, are linked to the investigation into Balluku: corruption, money laundering and concealment of assets.

Bardhi also revisited Prime Minister Edi Rama’s previous statements on the Balluku case, describing the latest allegations as three new elements in the situation.

According to him, the violation of equal treatment in eight tenders, with a total value of 1.2 billion euros, had not previously been considered sufficient grounds to seek the lifting of her immunity.

“Now that Edi Rama’s alibi has also fallen apart, why is SPAK not bringing Parliament the request to lift Belinda Balluku’s immunity and arrest her?” Bardhi said.

The Democratic MP also raised questions about the assets that, according to him, have been identified during the investigation, asking how many villas and other properties still need to be uncovered.

At the conclusion of his statement, Bardhi referred to the “Valamar Alliance” and questioned whether it stands above the law.
