High influx at the Port of Vlorë, over 3,500 people arrived during the weekend

The Port of Vlorë has experienced a significant increase in movements during August. Last weekend alone, more than 3,500 people entered through the maritime border crossing, while the influx continued on Monday.

Director of the Port of Vlorë, Valdet Bello, said that last weekend marked the highest level of arrivals during this period.

With the first ferry on Monday, around 750 people arrived at the port. A similar number of passengers is expected to enter with the second ferry, which arrives in the afternoon.

In addition to Albanians, the number of foreigners choosing the Port of Vlorë to enter the country has increased in recent days. The largest part of them are Italian tourists.

The high influx is being handled by the port at the peak of the tourist season, while it is predicted that intensive movements will continue in the coming days.
