Well-known rapper and former “Big Brother VIP Albania 4” resident G-Bani has issued a strong reaction on social media against the government’s decision to allocate four million euros from the state budget for international star Kanye West’s concert in Tirana.

Through several posts on Instagram, he addressed Prime Minister Edi Rama directly, accusing him of spending citizens’ money only to avoid being embarrassed in front of international attendees who have bought tickets.

G-Bani stressed that instead of spending such large sums on a foreign artist, Edi Rama never offered support or a dignified festival for the names that gave Albanian hip-hop its identity over the years, mentioning legends such as West Side Family, Stine and 2Die4.

But beyond the outrage over the budget and the decisions of the head of government, what immediately drew attention was the fact that G-Bani has clearly not forgotten his dynamic with Gjesti.

Even though their journey in the famous house has ended, the jabs seem far from over. For the nth time, the rapper has used his former housemate as a reference point when he wants to make a negative comparison.

In posts criticizing the way Edi Rama communicates, G-Bani wrote that it is impossible to understand what is being said, equating that lack of clarity to listening to Gjesti.

In his own words, the rapper says the prime minister does not pass the test and does not know what he is talking about, just as if you were listening to Gjesti.
