Following the certification by the Central Election Commission of the final results of the June 7 elections, Kosovo Assembly Speaker Albulena Haxhiu reacted through a post.
She described this moment as the closing of an important democratic stage for the country and expressed thanks to the electoral institutions, as well as to all those who helped ensure the smooth running of this process, “Bota sot” reports.

Haxhiu announced that the constitutive session of the Assembly of the Republic will be convened within the deadline set by the Constitution, with a view to establishing the new institutions.
She pointed out that the trust given by citizens carries great responsibility and that every mandate must be exercised with integrity, accountability and commitment to the public interest.

Today, with the certification of the final results of the June 7 elections by the Central Election Commission, an important democratic process for our Republic comes to an end.
The will of the citizens, expressed through their vote at home and by our compatriots, has now taken its final institutional form. I express my gratitude to the electoral institutions and to all those who, with professionalism, responsibility and dedication, contributed to the smooth progress and conclusion of this process.
In line with constitutional responsibilities, the constitutive session of the Assembly of the Republic will be convened within the deadline set by the Constitution, paving the way for the establishment of new institutions arising from the will of the citizens.
The trust given by citizens is a great responsibility. Every mandate must be exercised with integrity, accountability and unwavering commitment in the service of the public interest, democracy and the future of our Republic.
