Haki Imeri’s family accuses the LDK: The current leadership serves paramilitary clans, not citizens

Activist Haki Imeri’s family has issued a public reaction, accusing the current leadership of the LDK of having drifted away from the interests of citizens and its own electorate.

According to this reaction, the party’s leaders are being influenced by groups linked to the PDK, while the memory and sacrifice of LDK activists are being left to fade into oblivion.

The statement also says that the truth cannot be kept hidden forever and that justice, even if delayed, will ultimately prevail.

The family underscores that the memory of the victims and activists of the LDK will not be extinguished and that, in their view, the truth will come to light.

-The current LDK, according to them, no longer listens to the voice of the citizen.

-According to the statement, its leaders do not protect the interest of the people and do not represent the trust of even its most loyal voters.

-They, it continues, have turned into instruments of the PDK’s criminal groups.

-This, according to the reaction, is something everyone knows.

-Some of them, the statement continues, serve one paramilitary clan, while some serve others.

-According to the family, some are close to Hashim Thaçi and another part is close to Sami Lushtaku.

-But, it is emphasized there, none of them is close to the citizen and the LDK voter.

-Those men and women who were once targets of SHIK, according to the statement, have for three decades been pushed toward oblivion.

-Their names, it continues, cannot be covered by silence and their sacrifice never fades.

-According to the reaction, there is an attempt to rewrite history with lies, while the truth is being buried.

-A heavy responsibility in this process, according to the family, lies precisely with those who were never truly LDK, but who today lead the party according to the “instructions” of those who killed LDK figures and organized an assassination attempt against President Ibrahim Rugova.

-The statement says that the coordination of the actions of some LDK parachutists with Sami Lushtaku is no coincidence.
