Gjini: Kurti wrote to me about a meeting, but the invitation shows neither seriousness nor good intentions

Ardian Gjini, chairman of the Alliance, announced that Prime Minister Albin Kurti had sent him a message to meet and discuss the political situation in the country.

According to Gjini, the message arrived two or three days ago. He said he saw neither seriousness nor good intentions in the invitation, although he does not usually speak about such matters.

“I received an SMS asking me to meet and discuss strategic actions. It was two or three days ago. I usually do not discuss these things, but I cannot avoid speaking because he himself sent the SMS. I see absolutely no seriousness or good intentions. I see nothing,” Gjini said.

According to him, the invitation may be an attempt to steer matters toward assigning blame. “It is merely a game to arrive at assigning blame,” he said.

Gjini rejected the possibility that the Alliance could be held responsible for the political situation, arguing that the party does not decide whether the country will go to elections.

“The Alliance cannot be blamed because, paradoxically, at this stage, we are not the ones who announce the elections or prevent their announcement. We would have wanted everything to be different, and it will be very soon, but for now the Alliance cannot be blamed,” Gjini declared.
