Gerti Shella: Vlora Hyseni asked to leave by resigning, but her request was not accepted

Appearing on the “Review” program hosted by Greta Topjana, judicial affairs expert Gerti Shella spoke about the arrest measure against former SHISH director Vlora Hyseni, while also sharing unconfirmed information about her resignation.

Shella clarified that he could not guarantee the accuracy of this version, as it concerned information that had circulated in recent days.

According to him, Vlora Hyseni may have anticipated how the situation would develop and had gone to his office to ask for permission to leave by resigning. “The information we have gathered in recent days says that she herself expected something like this to happen and, with at least a measure of dignity, went to his office to ask to resign, meaning to be allowed to step down through resignation. As far as we understand, this was not accepted. It is said that she went to submit her resignation and he told her: ‘Do not resign.’ I do not know how true this is, but this is information circulating these days. Today, he dismissed Vlora Hyseni,” Shella declared.
