On the eve of the verdict announcement for the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, the General Director of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha, spoke about the security preparations for this event.

He described this as a marked day for Kosovo, emphasizing the weight the KLA has had in the country’s history.
“As you know, today a decision is made regarding the KLA leaders. The KLA has been the most precious jewel of Kosovo’s history, perhaps even of the entire Albanian people. It is a special day for our state, therefore the Kosovo Police have taken the appropriate measures,” Hoxha stated.
He further announced that security institutions have implemented all the necessary measures to manage the situation throughout this day.
