From Buroja, his birthplace, Gani Thaçi, Hashim Thaçi’s brother, declared today that he and his entire family believe in the innocence of the KLA quartet and in the clean war of this army, just minutes before the Special Court in The Hague delivered the verdict.

“Faith in the clean war of the KLA, faith in God, and true justice,” Thaçi said.
He announced that the former president’s family members, except for his mother, are in The Hague where they are closely awaiting the ruling of the trial panel. The mother has remained at the family home in Buroja and from there is awaiting the verdict for her son and his three wartime comrades.
“Mother is at home, but she is a bit tired,” he added.
