Fushë-Krujë Explosion: Investigators Suspect Ylli Zalla Planted the TNT, His Wife Called Police

The investigation into the explosive blast in the village of Zallë in Fushë-Krujë is continuing, with one of the police’s main lines of inquiry being that the TNT may have been planted by Ylli Zalla himself.

The incident occurred at Zalla’s home, where the explosion caused material damage to the building and also set a vehicle on fire.

The explosion is suspected to have occurred late on Saturday night, but police were only notified this morning. The report was made by Ylli Zalla’s wife, who was in Italy.

There were no security cameras at the scene. As a result, there is no footage showing the explosives being planted or the moment of the blast.

Initially, Zalla’s wife stated that a threatening letter had also been found in addition to the TNT, but she later withdrew this statement, leading investigators to consider it an alibi.

Investigators have not ruled out the possibility that Ylli Zalla left the country illegally and staged the incident with the aim of seeking asylum outside Albania by claiming that his life is in danger.
