Fuel prices change from September 1: diesel and mazut become cheaper

The Regulatory Commission for Energy, Water Services and Municipal Waste Management Services of the Republic of North Macedonia (ERC) has approved a new decision on the retail prices of oil derivatives. Under the decision, compared with those set on August 24, 2026, prices will decrease by an average of 2.06%.

Meanwhile, the two types of gasoline, EUROSUPER BS-95 and EUROSUPER BS-98, will become more expensive by 1.00 denars per liter. On the other hand, EURODIESEL (D-E V) will be 6.50 denars per liter cheaper, while Extra Light Household Fuel Oil (EL-1) will decrease by 3.50 denars per liter. A reduction of 1.166 denars per kilogram has been set for Mazut M-1 SU, bringing its price to 44.410 denars per kilogram.

The maximum prices will apply from September 1, 2026, starting at 00:01. EUROSUPER BS-95 motor gasoline will cost 94.00 denars per liter, while EUROSUPER BS-98 will be sold at 96.00 denars per liter.

EURODIESEL BS (D-E V) will be priced at 95.00 denars per liter. Extra Light Fuel Oil 1 (EL-1) will cost 97.00 denars per liter, while Mazut M-1 SU will be sold at 44.410 denars per kilogram.
