Four Poles arrested after damaging entrance to military warehouses in Tetovo

Four Polish nationals have been detained in Tetovo after allegedly damaging the entrance door of military warehouses in the Erebinë area.

According to a statement from the Tetovo Internal Affairs Sector, the incident was reported on 28 September 2026, at around 6:24 p.m., by the Military Police of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia. The report states that, in the area where the military warehouses are located, several people travelling on all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) damaged the door of the facility.

Military personnel on duty detained four people, all Polish nationals: H.M.A. (55), D.K.V. (55), K.V. (41) and K.J.R. (36). Meanwhile, three other people who were using ATVs fled and have been declared wanted.

The detainees were deprived of their liberty on reasonable suspicion that they had committed the criminal offense stipulated in Article 350 of the Criminal Code, “unauthorized entry into military facilities.”

Police are continuing efforts to locate the three other individuals. Once documentation of the case is completed, the relevant filings will be submitted against them, the Tetovo Internal Affairs Sector announced./Telegrafi/
