A fire broke out at a hotel along Vlora’s Lungomare, causing panic among the guests staying in the building.

A tourist from Kosovo described the terrifying moments he experienced as the hotel was engulfed in flames.
“I jumped from the second floor; there were other families who jumped as well,” he said, describing the situation inside the building.
Police and firefighting teams arrived at the scene after the flames spread and managed to bring the fire under control.
Seven people were taken to hospital as a result of the incident. Three of them were transferred to Tirana, where they will receive more specialized medical assistance.
Meanwhile, an investigation has begun to determine the circumstances in which the fire broke out.
