Kosovo has declared that it is ready to assist Albania and Montenegro, where fires have spread across various areas. The announcement was made by Acting Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci.

He said that he had informed the defense ministers of Albania and Montenegro of Kosovo’s Ministry of Defense’s readiness to contribute with the capabilities available to the country.
“Kosovo is ready to contribute in support of the relevant authorities, if such assistance is deemed necessary, by making our capabilities available to address the situation created by the fires. At times like these, solidarity and cooperation take on particular importance. The Ministry of Defense, the Kosovo Security Force and the other institutions of the Republic remain ready to provide support and contribute wherever our capabilities may be useful,” Maqedonci said.
