Festival “Çarshia” Brings Skopje Back onto the Stage of Major International Cultural Events

For four consecutive nights, Skopje’s Old Bazaar will become the epicenter of a series of diverse activities, enriching the national cultural calendar. This was announced by representatives of VLEN through an official press release.

With its first edition, the International Music Festival “Çarshia” opens a new chapter, where culture is positioned as a pillar of development, identity, and promotion of the capital beyond borders.

Through the involvement of prominent institutions and artists, the foundations are being laid for a tradition that aims to turn the Old Bazaar into an important hub of art and culture in the entire region.

The presence of distinguished figures from the artistic scene, such as Inva Mula and Dëshira Ahmeti, alongside competent institutions, proves that with a clear vision and strong will, Skopje can host events that meet international standards. This entire event would not have been possible without the dedication of the Mayor of Čair, Izet Mexhiti, who through his commitment is giving the Bazaar a new vitality and spirit. This is just the beginning of a tradition that is expected to grow stronger year after year.
