Faton Peci calls on the LDK to cooperate on the election of Kosovo’s president

Guxo Party leader Faton Peci has called on the LDK to reflect and cooperate, with the aim of overcoming the current political deadlock.

He noted that only 24 hours remain to elect Kosovo’s president, stressing that concluding the process would complete the country’s highest institutions and strengthen institutional stability.

According to Peci, it is in Kosovo’s interest to find a compromise, overcome individual positions and reach an agreement.

“Let us prove that we love Kosovo,” he wrote.

Referring to recent developments and the deadline of only 24 hours to elect the president, Peci, in his capacity as Guxo’s leader, called on the LDK to work together to overcome the situation that has arisen.

He said that electing the president would not only meet the need to complete the country’s highest institutions, but would also create stability during a challenging period for Kosovo.

Peci stressed that only through institutional stability can the country face the challenges ahead, including those related to the justice process and the Appeals Chamber in The Hague.

“Let us join forces and do our utmost to overcome the difficult days Kosovo is going through. Let us prove to everyone, but also to ourselves and to one another, that we love our blessed country,” he said.

Peci reiterated that compromise, overcoming one’s own differences and reaching an agreement are worthwhile for Kosovo, adding that everything is worthwhile for the country.
