Police have taken four people in for questioning as part of the investigation into the powerful explosion that occurred this morning at a fuel station in the Brryl area of Tirana.

Among those taken in are the driver of the vehicle that was being refueled with gas at the time of the explosion, the manager, the administrator and the technical director of the station, reports Top Channel journalist Dorjana Bezat.
The police operation aims to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident and determine responsibility, after the explosion injured three employees and caused considerable material damage.
Preliminary police data suggest that the incident occurred while a vehicle was being refueled. Meanwhile, there are suspicions that a gas leak had occurred at the station.
The three fuel station employees who were injured were taken to the University Trauma Hospital. According to the Ministry of Health, they are in stable condition and out of danger.
