Durrës/ 40-year-old loses consciousness at construction site and dies in hospital

A worker around 40 years old died this afternoon in Durrës after he is suspected of collapsing unconscious while working at a construction site.

The incident occurred at around 15:00 in the city’s No. 4 neighborhood. According to preliminary police information, the man, identified by the initials E. L., was found unconscious and immediately transported to the hospital.

Despite doctors’ efforts and the medical assistance provided, the 40-year-old did not survive.

After being notified, police officers arrived at the scene. The investigative team, under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, is working to determine the cause of death and clarify the full circumstances of the case.
