One person has died and 27 others have been injured in a drone attack in Russia’s Yaroslavl region.

The region’s governor, Mikhail Evrayev, said the remains of a Ukrainian drone fell on an industrial facility. According to his statement, the incident caused one death and left 27 people injured.
In a separate statement, Ukraine’s General Staff said Ukrainian forces had struck a Russian oil refinery in the Yaroslavl region overnight, after which a fire broke out.
However, it remains unclear whether this was the same facility mentioned by the Russian and Ukrainian authorities.
The attack took place at a time when drone strikes on energy and industrial facilities in Russia have intensified as part of the war between the two countries.
