Flamur Noka has been confirmed for another four-year term as the number two in the Democratic Party after securing a majority of votes in the party’s National Council.
Noka received 184 votes in the race for secretary general, while his opponent, MP Saimir Korreshi, received 84 votes.

In the races for secretarial positions, Klevis Balliu was elected organisational secretary, Andi Mustafaj took the post of human resources secretary, while Ylli Asllani was elected secretary for local government.
Agron Gjekmarkaj and Gazment Bardhi will continue to hold the posts of Democratic Party vice presidents. Meanwhile, Belind Këlliçi defeated Luçiano Boçi by a margin of 64 votes.

Diaspora Vice President: Besa Manaj received 69 votes and Erisa Bajaziti received 193 votes.
Organisational Secretary: Agron Loka secured 86 votes, while Klevis Balliu received 197 votes.
Digitalisation Secretary: Etion Kapedani received 192 votes and Renald Rista 61 votes.
Human Resources Secretary: Andi Mustafa received 192 votes, while Mario Runa received 81 votes.
Urban Planning and Territorial Affairs Secretary: Gentian Kaprata secured 135 votes and Maksim Kola 129 votes.
Legal and Electoral Affairs Secretary: Arlinda Ahmetaj received 59 votes, while Marash Logu received 215 votes.
Property Issues Secretary: Endira Bushati received 158 votes and Ledina Mandia 106 votes.
Public Relations Secretary: Denisa Kele received 108 votes, while Viola Kapedani received 131 votes.
Human Rights Secretary: Franc Nuri secured 185 votes and Ledio Nuraj 89 votes.
Partner Organisations Secretary: Eva Metaj received 171 votes, while Malvina Lika received 112 votes.
Secretary for the Politically Persecuted: Lorenc Luka received 103 votes, while Shkëlqim Lepenica received 158 votes.
European Integration Secretary: Fjoralba Dizdari secured 172 votes and Silvia Hasaj 107 votes.
Local Government Secretary: Agron Haxhimali received 78 votes, while Ylli Asllani received 179 votes.
Diaspora Secretary: Et’hem Aga received 209 votes and Petrit Tafaj 43 votes.
Civic Action Secretary: Erges Eskiu secured 174 votes, while Jurgen Spaho received 112 votes.
In the vote for the Appeals Commission, in which the five candidates receiving the most votes are elected, the results were: Adriana Kalaja, 238 votes; Besart Logu, 163 votes; Shaqir Manjani, 143 votes; Suina Asllanaj, 112 votes; Gentian Koçi, 104 votes; Ankelita Çela, 97 votes; Mark Lleshi, 94 votes; Lukas Heirdon, 84 votes; Arsen Dushku, 58 votes; and Çajup Shehaj, 48 votes.
